Frequently asked questions.

When will tickets go on sale?
They’re on sale now! Head over to our Tickets page now. Come early for the best pumpkins!

Do I need to book?
We recommend booking your tickets in advance so we know how many cars to cater for in the car park. But don’t worry – walk-ins are welcome too, subject to space on the day.

When are you open?
Our Pumpkin Patch is open from 10am–4pm on event days.

Will there be activities for kids?
Yes! We have Barrel Rides, Bouncy Castle, free entertainment areas and more.

On select days, we’ll be joined by:

We’ll also have Pumpkin Carving Kits for sale, so you can take your pumpkins home and get creative.
All of these extras are optional and charged separately – check our Tickets page for dates.

What’s included in my ticket?
Entry to Somerley Fields is £5 per person (age 3 and up). This includes:

  • Access to the Pumpkin Field & Field of Frights

  • Photo & entertainment opportunities

  • Entry to the Maize Maze

  • Bouncy Castle

  • Use of wheelbarrows for collecting your pumpkins

  • Loos (including a disabled toilet), and free parking

  • Children under 3 go free.

How much are pumpkins?
Pumpkins come in all shapes, sizes, and colours – prices start from just a few pounds depending on size. You’ll pay for what you pick on the day.

Where exactly is it?
You’ll find us on the Map here.

Can I get the bus?
The Number 52 Bus stops right outside our entrance — it's the easiest way to get here without the traffic hassle, and you'll be doing the planet a favour too!

Can I bring a buggy/pushchair?
Our fields are on working farmland, so while you can bring buggies, please be aware that the ground may be uneven and muddy. We’ll do our best to make access smooth, but a baby carrier might be easier for little ones.

What should I wear?
Think practical! Sturdy, closed-toe shoes or wellies are highly recommended, and warm layers are best for autumn weather.

Are there loos?
Yes – we have toilets on-site, including a disabled toilet.

Can I park there?
Free parking is available on our side of the road directly in front of the farm. Please do not park in front of neighbouring houses, out on the road or in driveways.
Please take extra care near the bend by our entrance and drive considerately – it can get a little busy on the road.
Parking is provided at your own risk. Somerley Fields accepts no liability for loss, theft, or damage to vehicles or belongings.

Do you take cards?
We do, but farm Wi-Fi can be temperamental. We suggest bringing cash as a backup.

Can I bring the kids?
Absolutely – this is a family day out. Children must stay with a grown-up at all times.

Can I bring my dog?
Yes! Dogs are very welcome – please keep them on a lead and clean up after them. Don’t forget to check out Howl-O-Ween, our special day for furry friends.

Can I bring a drone?
Sorry, but no. Our field is a no-fly zone for drones to respect our neighbours’ privacy. Please leave them at home. If you’re interested in using the field for content, get in touch, and we can sort something out.

Will you be taking photos/video?
Please be aware that photography and video footage may be taken during your visit. These may be used by Somerley Fields for promotional purposes, including, but not limited to, our website, social media platforms, and printed materials. By entering the site, you consent to the use of such imagery and waive any right to compensation or approval. Please get in touch if you would like to book a dedicated photography session.

What happens if there’s a huge storm?
In the event that an experience must be postponed due to circumstances beyond our control (such as severe weather, government regulations, natural disasters, or other force majeure events), Somerley Fields will transfer your booking to a future equivalent date within the same or next season. Refunds will not be offered under these circumstances. Rescheduled bookings will include all standard attractions available at the time, unless otherwise stated.

Can I get a refund?
Tickets are non-refundable, but you may amend your booking up to 48 hours before your visit.

Can I smoke or vape?
No – Somerley Fields is a strictly no-smoking, no-vaping site.

Any site rules I should know?
Please stick to paths, treat the land with care, and follow staff instructions. Anyone damaging the site or not respecting rules may be asked to leave.

Can I tag you in my Social Media Posts?
Please do! We’re ‘Somerley Fields’ on Facebook and @somerleyfields on Instagram.
